What does Enoj mean?

If only we had a dollar every time we were asked the question: “What does Enoj mean?” Quite often people assume it’s something exotic or aquatic in nature, but more often than not most have no idea what Enoj means.

The word Enoj originated from a fun game that owner Rupert Ortiz and his wife Joni use to play. They would simply reverse the spelling of their first name and then call each other by that name. Rupert became Trepur and Joni became Inoj.

When it came time for Rupert to think of a unique name for his company, the first name that popped into mind was Inoj. After some marketing and branding suggestions, the letter “I” was eventually changed to the letter “E” for easier pronunciation and identification and so was born the company with the exotic name: Enoj Pools.

Over the years, the name Enoj has found its way into the hearts of our customers, and the meaning of Enoj has changed from person to person. For some it means experience and enjoyment, for others it means excellence. Whomever decides their meaning of Enoj, one thing is certain, Enoj Pools strives to encompass our customer's dream of a pool paradise into meaning: excellence, experience and enjoyment.
